It is with deep sympathy that I must inform you of the passing of one of our sport's greatest ambassadors in Coach James Pechkam. I was honored to be able to take the reins from Coach back in 1994 from Harvard and be able to have him around influencing the program and everyone involved, myself included. He was a great coach but an even better man that most definitely touched many lives directly and indirectly in the past 50 years or so. He will be missed by many. I absolutely love it when you begin telling a Coach Peckham story and the person you are telling it to finishes the story verbatim. Thank you Coach. Many will never forget you. Rest well.

Here are some links about Coach Peckham.
